Kinderteller aus Emaille
Ich finde es toll, dass es zu jedem Stapel Becher passend in der Farbe einen Teller gibt. Sie sind zum Frühstück, zum Beispiel auch für Erwachsene nicht zu klein. Für größere Familien würde ich mir noch eine weitere Farbe wünschen, zum Beispiel grün.
Ist Emaille fürs Camping geeignet?
Emaille ist ein Material, das besonders im Outdoor- und Campingbereich sehr beliebt ist. Die Kombination aus einem stabilen Stahlkern und einer schützenden Emaillebeschichtung sorgt für viele praktische Eigenschaften, die sich im Alltag und unterwegs bewährt haben.
Vorteile von Emaillegeschirr beim Camping
Emaille gilt als hygienisch, geschmacksneutral und hitzebeständig. Außerdem ist die Oberfläche relativ unempfindlich gegenüber Schnitten und Kratzern. Dadurch eignet sich Emaillegeschirr gut für den Einsatz beim Camping, beim Picknick oder auf Reisen. Zusätzlich ist das Material langlebig und vergleichsweise leicht zu reinigen.
Robust, aber nicht unzerstörbar
Trotz seiner Robustheit handelt es sich bei Emaille um eine glasartige Beschichtung, die auf einen Stahlkörper aufgebracht wird. Bei starken Stößen, Stürzen oder punktuellem Druck kann diese Beschichtung beschädigt werden oder absplittern.
Was bei Stürzen passieren kann
Fällt Emaillegeschirr aus größerer Höhe auf einen harten Untergrund, können Abplatzungen oder Verformungen entstehen. In solchen Fällen wird nicht nur die Beschichtung beansprucht, sondern auch der darunterliegende Stahlkern, der sich durch die Krafteinwirkung verziehen kann.
Mit einem normalen und sorgfältigen Umgang ist Emaillegeschirr jedoch ein zuverlässiger Begleiter für viele Camping- und Outdoor-Abenteuer.

Wie entstehen diese Punkte?
Bei der Herstellung wird eine Glasschicht (Emaille) auf einen Stahlkörper aufgeschmolzen. Während dieses Prozesses können winzige Lufteinschlüsse, Staubpartikel oder minimale Unregelmäßigkeiten im Material entstehen. Diese werden nach dem Brennvorgang manchmal als kleine dunkle Punkte sichtbar.
Auch bei mehrschichtiger Emaille möglich
Bei mehrschichtiger oder zweifarbiger Emaille kann es außerdem vorkommen, dass einzelne Pigmente leicht durchscheinen. Solche kleinen optischen Besonderheiten sind materialtypisch und treten selbst bei hochwertigen Emaille-Produkten auf.
