Iron pans
Lovers of crispy fried potatoes and juicy steaks know the benefits of a good iron pan. Heat-resistant, indestructible and equipped with excellent frying properties, frying pans made of wrought iron are the first choice when it comes to precise searing and the optimum cooking point. Our German-made pans are not only convincing in terms of taste: thanks to their excellent thermal conductivity, they react quickly to heat and the heat supply can be regulated very precisely. This allows for shorter frying times and, incidentally, saves energy, time and money. The material is so robust that our iron pans can even be used on the grill and over an open fire. Of course, perfect frying results can also be achieved on gas, electric, ceramic and induction stoves. And while coated frying pans lose their coating after just a few uses, become unusable and end up in the trash, wrought iron pans are not only absolutely scratch and cut resistant – they also improve over time. The reason is the so-called ""patina"", which forms first after baking and then with each use on the bottom of the pan by oil and fat. The darker, the better! The patina acts like a natural non-stick coating and contributes to the full development of the roasting aromas. It is impossible to imagine professional restaurant kitchens without iron pans because of their many advantages.
